The leading alternative asset manager has announced the launch of a new investment fund
The AltX Credit Fund adopts an investor-centric fund structure, aiming to simplify access, streamline administration and provide more choice for investors
The Fund targets investment returns from 5.85% to 12.80% for Wholesale Investors across six Share Classes
The AltX Credit Fund reflects the evolution of the company’s managed fund program and is designed to provide investors with access to the full breadth of AltX’s loan origination in one investment vehicle.
Offering investors the choice of six discrete share classes, the new structure allows investors to invest in a variety of classes that meet their preferred risk appetites, underlying loan exposures and liquidity preferences.
Speaking about the new structure, Co-Founder and Co-CEO Steven Beinart comments, “This is a huge milestone for AltX. Each share class within the Fund provides investors with diversification and portfolio risk management, enabling exposure to a broader range of underlying loan transactions for a much lower minimum investment threshold.”
Designed to suit specific investment preferences, the six share classes include short-term, senior debt, diversified and construction investment opportunities.
The new structure also includes a ‘Credit Opportunities’ class, which provides exposure to bespoke credit opportunities across asset-backed, commercial mortgage-backed and residential mortgage-backed securities.
“There are many ways to gain exposure to private real estate credit. The AltX Credit Fund provides the full spectrum of choice to investors, ranging from vanilla, liquid 1st mortgage exposure through to structured credit opportunities targeting higher yields.” says Beinart.
Launched to current investors late last week, the AltX Credit Fund presents a compelling opportunity for those seeking to diversify their portfolios and gain asset-backed returns in today's challenging market environment.
With its innovative fund structure and diversified exposure, the fund is poised to deliver long-term value for investors.
“Since our inception, we have built a strong reputation for delivering consistent returns for our investors. We have funded more than $4.1bn deals to date, with 100% capital returned to our wholesale investor base. This new fund structure reflects the continued growth of AltX in the private debt investment space and provides more choice for our investors,” believes Beinart.
